In 2019, the Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center compiled a list of troubling drug statistics about Kentucky, taken from data compiled two years earlier. It revealed that:
- An average of four Kentucky residents dies every day from a drug overdose, making the state’s overdose rate the fourth highest in the nation.
